1. Digital service nature
Cedar Pages provides online writing, editing, formatting, and document-organization services. Services are customized based on the information, notes, documents, and instructions provided by the client.
Because work is prepared specifically for each request, refund eligibility depends on the project stage and confirmed scope.
2. Before work begins
If a client cancels before Cedar Pages has started reviewing, writing, editing, formatting, or preparing the requested work, a refund may be available for amounts paid for that service, excluding any non-recoverable payment processing or platform fees where applicable.
3. After work has started
Once work has started, a full refund is generally not available because time has been allocated and customized preparation may already be underway. If the request is cancelled after work has started, Cedar Pages may review whether a partial refund is appropriate based on the work completed, materials reviewed, and project stage.
4. After delivery
After a digital file, text draft, formatted document, checklist, or similar deliverable has been provided, refunds are generally not available for change of mind, change of business direction, unused content, delayed client review, or new preferences outside the confirmed scope.
If the delivered file does not match the confirmed scope, the client should request the included revision round so Cedar Pages can review and correct the issue.
5. Revisions
One standard revision round is included with standard services. Revisions must relate to the original confirmed scope and should be requested within a reasonable review period after delivery. Major new instructions, new pages, new service categories, or a different project direction may require a separate quote.
6. Non-refundable situations
- The client provided incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated materials.
- The client changed the project direction after work started.
- The client requested new work outside the confirmed scope.
- The final file was delivered according to the confirmed instructions.
- The client no longer needs the content after delivery.
7. How to request a refund review
To request a refund review, contact Cedar Pages with the service name, order or project details, reason for the request, and any relevant communication. Cedar Pages will review the request based on the confirmed scope, project stage, and delivered materials.
